Anna M. Puig Molina

In early 80s i took oil painting and drawing lessons at the Academia Abad art school and workshop, also known as Taller de pintura Abad, in my home town, Terrassa (Barcelona), imparted by the landscape impressionist artist Víctor Abad Pérez and the contemporary multidisciplinary artist Cesc Abad.
Since, I have drawn and painted in different periods of my life as hobby and for well-being.
A walk at the beach of Falsterbo awoke, few years ago, my childhood fascination for the sea. In my paints, i try to catch and perpetuate the inner peace and fulfilment feeling that I experience every time I see and hear the sea.
I find specially captivating the contrast between the South Sweden coastline and the Mediterranean coast close to my home town. Two landscapes so different yet connected through my memories and experiences.
