Jessica Hedin

Art educator and realist oil painter, I work through direct observation, precision, and disciplined craft. Holding a degree in art teacher education, I have been engaged in art since childhood. My background in micromechanical design, printmaking, photography, woodworking, and lost-wax casting informs a multidisciplinary practice spanning painting, printmaking, photography, sculpture, and commissioned works. My early experience includes editing and directing dance productions, as well as working in film production. My art is held in private collections internationally, including those of recognized film directors, authors, and artists.
