Kristin Couch

I create art that moves between dream and emotion — quiet, atmospheric worlds where light, color, and intuition shape their own language. My work often explores the spaces we cannot quite name: the feelings that linger, the stories that hum beneath the surface, and the inner landscapes we carry with us.

I am drawn to contrasts — softness and intensity, stillness and transformation — and I let these elements guide each piece until it becomes something both familiar and otherworldly. My process is intuitive, allowing each artwork to unfold like a whispered memory or a moment suspended in time.

Originally from Iceland and now living in Stockholm, I work with a deep appreciation for solitude, mood, and poetic storytelling. I aim for my art to invite viewers to pause, breathe, and step into a world where imagination feels real and emotion becomes visible.
